Lenore Vardi - Violin

In 1986, Emanuel Vardi and his wife, violinist Lenore Vardi, joined forces forming The Vardi Duo, and their concerts took  them throughout the US, Canada, and Great Britain.

Lenore Weinstock Vardi gave her solo recital debut in New York’s Merkin Hall in 1982, and was hailed by critic Robert Kimball of the New York Post, as “a violinist of amazing elegance and musicianship…a natural performer.”

Lenore Vardi teachers include some of the most illustrious pedagogues in the string world, including Steven Staryk, Joseph Silverstein, and Dorothy DeLay.  She earned her BM degree in violin performance from Oberlin College, and MM degree in violin performance and chamber music from Sarah Lawrence College with Dorothy DeLay.

Lenore Vardi offers private instruction by audition to talented and dedicated string players of all ages.

They focus on a holistic approach that deals with not only repertoire and technique, but also with the physical, mental, and psychological aspects of study and performance.
