Calvin composed five fiddle tunes for the Opening Ceremonies of the 2010 Winter Olympics in
Vancouver, Canada
for the fiddle segment "Rhythms of the Fall."
He sat on a chair with the symphony orchestra
playing his fiddle proudly.

He was supposed to teach at fiddle camp in 2007. 
His illness prevented this.

Alexis has worked with the Grammy award-winning production Riverdance as a fiddle player. 
She traveled on tour with  Riverdance to The United States and Ireland as a featured soloist.
Irish player Niamh Ní Charra, full-time fiddler with Riverdance, trained Alexis for the show.

Retired Brown County Judge William Duffy, known as much
for his gentle, compassionate demeanor on the bench
as for his political activism and Irish fiddle-playing off the bench,
died this week. He was 96.
